Scholarships

Dear students,
In accordance with the Methodology for the Awarding of Scholarships, students may submit their social scholarship application file in person at the faculty secretariat during the period 20.10.2025–07.11.2025 (inclusive), in line with the secretariat’s public office hours.
The net minimum wage taken into account for social scholarships in the 2025–2026 academic year is RON 2,574.
For the calculation of the average net monthly income per family member, the reference period is September 2024–August 2025.

- Incomplete social scholarship application files will not be accepted. All documents stipulated in the methodology are mandatory.
- The submission of false documents for the purpose of obtaining scholarships entails the reimbursement of unduly received amounts, criminal liability, and, implicitly, the student’s expulsion from the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
When submitting social scholarship application files, students are required to attach a bank account statement.

Fee Payment
Fees applied within the National University of Arts in Bucharest may be paid as follows:
For the payment of study fees (enrollment, graduation, tuition, fees for student assessment examinations, permanent mobility, re-enrollment, etc.):
- By bank transfer or internet banking to one of the following accounts:
- Raiffeisen Bank, IBAN RO44RZBR0000060026634249 – RON account;

Public Transport Pass Reimbursement

In accordance with the provisions of Article 128 (3) of Higher Education Law no. 199/2023, with subsequent amendments and additions, including those introduced by Government Emergency Ordinance no. 156/2024 and Law no. 141/2025 on certain fiscal and budgetary measures applicable in 2026, as well as with the provisions of Article 2 of Government Decision no. 811/2023 regarding transport facilities for students on domestic rail and metro services, please be informed of the following:
Students enrolled in the 2025–2026 academic year, up to the age of 30, must complete the following steps to obtain reimbursement for STB passes:
- obtain their student ID card from the faculty secretariat;
- obtain a personalised ACTIV card from any STB Card Issuance and Recharge Centre;
- purchase the public transport pass and submit the fiscal receipt or the receipt received by e-mail for passes purchased online;
- submit the documents to the UNArte Social Office.
Students from each UNArte faculty are entitled to reimbursement of 90% of the value of the pass.
Documents required for reimbursement:
- copy of the identity document – submitted only once, upon the first reimbursement;
- the original fiscal receipt, stamped on the reverse, or the receipt received by e-mail for passes purchased online (receipts whose serial number does not match the one indicated on the copy of the ACTIV card may be reimbursed only if proof issued by the STB General Directorate indicating the card’s serial number is provided, in the event that the card has been lost, or if a screenshot from the account available at online.stbsa.ro is submitted) – submitted every month;
- copy of the STB card, with the student’s name and the card’s serial number clearly legible – submitted only once;
- bank account statement – submitted only once, upon the first reimbursement, or whenever the account number changes;
- for students with one or both parents deceased, as well as students from foster care centres or who have been placed with an extended family, substitute family, or foster carer – supporting document;
- when the public transport pass is purchased through the BILET TB application, a payment confirmation e-mail will be received containing two PDF documents: FACTURA and DETALII TITLU DE CĂLĂTORIE. These documents will replace the stamped receipt issued at the STB counter when purchasing the pass.
Transport documents containing erasures, alterations, or additions, documents that are damaged or illegible, and passes submitted after the applicable reimbursement deadline are NOT considered valid for reimbursement.
After the first reimbursement, the original fiscal receipt for the purchase of the pass, stamped on the reverse, must be deposited in the pass collection box located at the entrance to the University, near the staircase.
The following must be indicated on the reverse: surname and given name, study programme, year of study, and the date on which the receipt was deposited in the box.
Reimbursement is carried out as follows:
- for documents submitted between the 1st and the 14th of the month, reimbursement is made during the same month;
- for documents submitted after the 14th of each month, reimbursement is made during the month following the month in which the documents were submitted;
- reimbursement is processed separately for each financial year;
- passes for October–December that have not been submitted for reimbursement by 10 December inclusive can no longer be reimbursed;
- passes are reimbursed exclusively for periods during which teaching activities take place (courses, examinations, and resit sessions). Passes purchased for university holiday periods are not reimbursed, except where the student undertakes compulsory practical training during that period, in accordance with the curriculum.
! STB passes are not reimbursed during the summer holiday.
